Membership in The Lakefront Association is open to any individual over the age of 18 that agrees with the four tenets of the association. The Association is intended to provide service for individuals that own property on the lakefront, but Associate Memberships are welcome for individuals that do not own property on the lakefront are welcome. The Lakefront Association should appeal to any individual that feels strongly about their private property rights and the ability to protect and enjoy their private property.

A primary member would be an individual over 18 that owns or resides on property which is considered Lakefront. Lakefront properties share one boundary that is directly adjacent to the water or a public reserve that is directly adjacent to the water. Primary members have voting rights of two votes per lakefront property

An associate member would be an individual over 18 that believes in the four tenets of the Lakefront Association. An associate member would not have lakefront property but believes strongly in the four tenets of the LakeFront Association. Associate members have all the rights of a primary member except that of voting.

Individuals can be either primary or associate members depending on the location of the cottage in which they reside. Individuals wishing to be a member must be 18. Voting privileges depend upon meeting the criteria of a “primary member” (see above).
